Jibril & Jax the Caterpillar

Jibril, a little boy, hopes to one day attend Coppin State University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). For now, he is an up-and-coming biologist who has not yet fully mastered the science. There is more studying for him to do.

In the meantime, Jibril is excited about his summer break from school, during which he studies plants, animals, and insects. His family's backyard serves as his laboratory. On a hot summer day, he meets Jax the Caterpillar.
